What is Istiazah?
Istiazah or Istiadah means to seek Allah’s refuge from the accursed Satan. The following is one way of istiazah:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
“I seek refuge in Allah from the rejected satan.”
When to say Istiazah?
Istiazah is usually done:
Recitation of Istiazah is mustahab (preffered or liked).
Shall Istiazah be recited loudly or silently?
If you are reciting the Quran loud then you should read the Istiazah loudly. Similarly, if you are reciting silently then Istiazah should be said silently.
What is Bamallah or Bismillah?
Basmallah or Bismillah means reciting:
The point of using dummy text for your paragraph is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters. making it look like readable English.
“In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.”
The purpose of reciting basmallah is to ask for Allah’s blessings.
When to say Basmallah?
Recitation of Basmallah is Wajib (obligatory) at the beginning of each Surah with the exception of Surah Taubah.
